Father and Son Hunts

Over the past 6 years Legacy Outdoor Ministries has sponsored a Father and Son Deer Hunt.  On the first hunt there was one dad and his two sons along with Legacy Outdoor Ministries Director Kyle Woodfin.  In the fall 2003 there were 34 participants in this hunt and several deer were taken including this nice 8 point buck taken by Zach Adams, his first deer.

These hunts offer quality time for a Father and Son to spend together in God’s great creation to really look at their relationship and to build upon that relationship.  Each year we include times of Bible Study and Devotion in which a theme is developed such as integrity, communication and honesty.  For many this is a great way to begin having these conversations with your child that you have been meaning to have and just haven’t known how to get them started.
