Exploring what it truly means to have Faith Over Fear.
Our first goal is to use the camp setting in the midst of God’s great creation to bring our campers and their families into a vibrant and growing relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Second, our goal is to pass down outdoor recreation skills that many of our youth are not getting the opportunity to experience. We hope that through this experience they will develop new hobbies that will last a lifetime.
Thirdly, we want to use this setting to instill a love for God’s great creation that will result in a wise understanding of our role as God’s children to use, enjoy and yet conserve the gift God has given us through His creation.
After consulting our Board of Directors and Doctors from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and after deep consideration and prayers, we have decided to condense Camp from 5 Weeks to 2 weeks.
This decision has resulted in us canceling our first 4 weeks of Camp that take place early to mid June. We are rescheduling Week 3: Older Boys Camp at Dorchester Shooting Preserve to June 28th- July 2nd. We are also reducing the maximum number of participants to twelve (12) campers.
We are continuing with our Day Camp at Browndale Planation for July 6th-10th, and will be opening it up to both boys and girls ages 10 and up. We will be reducing the maximum number of participants to twenty (20) campers.
We will be contacting everyone who is currently registered for Camp, and notifying them about the changes to the camp schedule.
We are currently reviewing all sanitation practices and adjusting accordingly. All changes and procedures will be sent to registered campers before the start of camp.
We will also be sending our a Covid-19 Liability Waiver stating that you are letting your child attend camp at their own risk. Legacy Outdoor Ministries, staff, volunteers, and affiliates cannot be held liable if you, your child or family members contract COVID-19 after attending our camp.
Before your camp we will give an approximate count of all campers, staff, and volunteers that will be at camp that week. If you are uncomfortable sending your child to camp this summer, we completely understand; please contact us so we can withdraw your registration and refund your deposit.
At Legacy Outdoor Ministry Summer Camps; we share the gospel with our campers through teaching outdoor recreation skills, such as gun safety and handling, archery, kayaks, and fishing.
We also offer the Georgia Hunter Safety Course at our Younger Boys and Girls Camp. Where campers will go through the Complete Georgia Hunter Safety Course with a certified instructor and be tested for there Georgia Hunter Safety Certification..
Your kids will be working with trained and experienced professionals who are active follower of Christ and active outdoors men and women.
